Google is the most popular search engine on the World Wide Web. Millions of searches are conducted every day to answer people's informational, navigational, product and services queries. 

Google can provide a starting point when searching for websites, government reports, images, videos, maps and more.

This guide provides tips and tricks for searching the Internet effectively by using Google and also finding scholarly literature with Google Scholar.
