Accessibility and UCD Library: How do I book a space?

Students can book a place in the Sensory Space online

• Click on Single Sign On. Use your UCD Connect username and password to login.
• From the ‘Resource booking’ click on Make a booking from the left-hand menu.  A drop-down menu will display Room type that are available for online booking.
• For the Sensory Study Room select a date from the calendar. Then press the desired time slot and press the plus bottom in that time slot to complete the booking. 
• Next click on Dashboard from the left-hand side menu on the screen, to check the details for your confirmed booking.
• Finally, click on your Email Address, located in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, then click Sign Out.

All you need to enter the room is your student UCard. The booking details will also be sent to your UCD email address.

To enter the room scan your student UCard on the door Reader.

From your booking start time onwards the door will automatically open after you scan your student UCard at the terminal reader.

Note the terminal may display 'Room occupied'; this means there is someone already in the room but you can still enter.  Just scan your student UCard at the door reader and the door will automatically open.

This room has 5 individual study spaces and can be booked for a maximum of 2 hours per day. Bookings can be made up to one week in advance.

If you do not show up for your booking it will be cancelled after 15 minutes.  Your space will go back on the booking system allowing another person to book that slot.

This room has 4 individual study spaces and can be booked for 30 minute intervals. Bookings can be made on the day and if required, students may book a further slot later the same day.

If you do not show up for your booking it will be cancelled after 10 minutes. Your space will go back on the booking system allowing another person to book that slot.
