UCD Library now has "Samsung FLIP" in selected study rooms.
This provides users with a smooth and familiar pen to paper writing experience in a variety of available colours, styles and widths.
Up to 4 people can write simultaneously, using any object as a writing tool. In addition, users can quickly erase the drawings with a finger or palm swipe.
How to get the Pen?
Go to the information desk in the relevant library and ask for the Digital Flipchart pen.

Digital Flipchart Getting Started...
Power On / Off
Button is labelled: Power button. Press the button to power on.
Press and hold the button to turn off the product.
In Screen Mirroring mode, press the power button to exit full screen.
The pen is magnetic. Keep it by attaching to the marked location.
You must Power Off product once you are finished.
Rotation
Before rotating the product, ensure there is enough space, moved away from the wall.
To use the product in portrait mode, turn it clockwise and make sure the power indicator is on the right after turning.
Mobile device feature work best when using Digital Flipchart in Portrait orientation.
Screen Share features work best when using Digital Flipchart in landscape orientation – turn it anti-clockwise to return to landscape mode.
What's a 'Roll'?
Files are called 'rolls' in this product. A 'roll' is a file with multiple pages linked together.
A roll can have up to 20 pages linked together. BRUSH MODE supports one page only.
You can open only one roll on one screen.
