It has three major sections; psychotherapy transcripts, primary accounts and handbook reference works.
- JSTOR This link opens in a new windowDigital library of important scholarly archived journals spanning many subject disciplines. IReL provides access all archival journals and primary source collections.
- Linguistics and Language Behavior Abstracts (Proquest) This link opens in a new windowThis database abstracts and indexes the international literature in linguistics and related disciplines in the language sciences. The database covers all aspects of the study of language including phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics. Documents indexed include journal articles, book reviews, books, book chapters, dissertations and working papers.
- PsycArticles (EBSCO) This link opens in a new windowFrom the American Psychological Association (APA), this database is a definitive source of full text, peer-reviewed scholarly and scientific articles in psychology.
- PsycBooks (EBSCO) This link opens in a new windowAn extensive collection of over 4,500 current and classic peer-reviewed titles in psychology and the behavioural sciences. Updated monthly, the collection includes the latest publications from the American Psychological Association. Also includes the APA/University of Oxford Encyclopedia of Psychology as well as the authoritative APA Handbooks in Psychology reference series.
- PsycInfo (EBSCO) This link opens in a new windowPsycINFO is the American Psychological Association's (APA) resource for abstracts of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations. It is the largest resource devoted to peer-reviewed literature in behavioral science and mental health, and contains citations and summaries dating as far back as the 1600s. Ninety-nine percent of its content is peer-reviewed.
- PubMed This link opens in a new windowPubMed comprises citations for biomedical literature from MEDLINE, life science journals, and online books. Citations may include links to full text content from PubMed Central and publisher websites.
- ScienceDirect Journals (Elsevier) This link opens in a new windowScienceDirect contains over 25% of the world's science, technology and medicine full text and bibliographic information. Includes online eBooks, reference works, handbooks, book series, journal titles and backfiles.
- Violence & Abuse Abstracts (EBSCO) This link opens in a new windowIncludes bibliographic records covering essential areas related to violence and abuse, including family violence, sexual assault, emotional abuse, and other areas of key relevance to the discipline.
- Web of Science (all databases) This link opens in a new windowWeb of Science is a website that provides subscription-based access to multiple databases that provide comprehensive citation data for many different academic disciplines.

- International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (Proquest) This link opens in a new windowThe International Bibliography of the Social Sciences (IBSS) is an essential online resource for social science and interdisciplinary research. IBSS includes over two million bibliographic references to journal articles and to books, reviews and selected chapters dating back to 1951. It is unique in its broad coverage of international material and incorporates over 100 languages and countries. Over 2,800 journals are regularly indexed and some 7,000 books are included each year. Abstracts are provided for half of all current journal articles and full text availability is continually increasing.
