About Archinfo
Archinfo was established in 1988 and based in UCD's Architecture and Planning Library at the Richview Campus off the Clonskeagh Road.
After more than 30 years in business Archinfo closed on 20th December 2019.
This website offers some suggestions for alternative sources of information and services to Archinfo.
We sincerely thank all our former customers for their support and business over the past 30 + years.

How to find the date of an OSi six inch or 25 inch historic map
Ordnance Survey Ireland (OSi) National Townland and Historical Map Viewer allows you view the historic 25 inch and 6 inch mapping series. Instructions are provided in the PDF below and the contents are:

Book Borrowing
Book Borrowing from UCD Library
The discounted fee for external borrower membership for former Archinfo members will be €250 for the first year of membership (i.e. 2020). This membership can include up to three researchers from a company.
This fee represents a significant discount on the normal cost of membership (Commercial company (per named researcher): €375. Commercial company (2-3 named researchers): €1000.).
The company will be issued with a UCD Library visitor card (a U-CARD). It will be necessary for the company to hold the card, and the card will be required for borrowing. The company will be required to provide an email address on application, all correspondence (recalls, overdues etc.) will be sent to this email address.
External borrowers can borrow from all UCD library sites. The quota is 10 books for 14 days.
