Brightspace - UCD Library guide: Guides and Tutorials

This useful guide will demonstrate the different options available for integrating UCD Library resources into Brightspace.

Step 1 From the UCD Library website select the guide URL from the search bar and copy (right click)

Step 2 In Brightspace select "My Learning" from the top menu

Step 3 Click "Upload/Create" and then "Create a Link"

Step 4 Add a title, then paste the URL and select "Open as External Resource" and click "Create"

Option A: If the tutorial is located directly on the UCD Library website

Step 1 Select the guide URL from the search bar and copy (right click)

Step 2 In Brightspace select "My Learning" from the top menu

Step 3 Click "Upload/Create" and then "Create a Link"

Step 4 Add a title, then paste the URL and select "Open as External Resource" and click "Create"

Option B: If the video/tutorial is located on the UCD Library YouTube Channel

Step 1 Click "Share" located at the bottom of the video

Step 2 Copy the URL

Step 3 Click "Upload/Create" and then "Create a Link"

Step 4 Add a title, then paste the URL and select "Open as External Resource" and click "Create"
