- Aille EngagedAille Engaged is a Citizen Science project that aims to increase local awareness of the dynamics of rainfall and river flow in the catchment area of the Aille River in North Clare.
- All Ireland Pollinator PlanThis is an island-wide attempt to reverse declines in pollinating insects and is managed by the National Biodiversity Data Centre. The online mapping system provided allows everyone - gardeners, farmers, Councils, businesses, local communities , and schools to register the actions they have taken for pollinators and put their pollinator-friendly locations on the map.
- BirdWatch IrelandBirdWatch Ireland runs many surveys which increase our knowledge of birds, their populations and their changing needs. BirdWatch Ireland have a range of bird surveys, suitable for all ages, from complete beginners to the most experienced birdwatchers.
- Citizen Science in Freshwater RiversThis initiative is part of the Local Authority Waters Programme (LAWPro)
- Clean CoastsThe Clean Coasts programme works with communities to help protect and care for Ireland’s waterways, coastline, seas, ocean and marine life.
- Dundrum Twenty ThirtyDundrum 2030 are using the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to facilitate sustainable development in Dundrum in Dublin. An interactive Dundrum Community SDG Dashboard presents indicators and some citizen science projects.
- EPA - Take Action in the CommunityA compilation of environmental projects by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in Ireland, which citizen scientists can partake in.
- EU-Citizen.ScienceThis is an online platform for sharing citizen science projects, resources, tools and training.
- Invasives - Invasive Alien Species in IrelandContribute to The National Invasive Species Database which provides a centralized source of up-to-date information on the distribution and status of invasive species in Ireland.
- Irish Hedgehog SurveyThe Irish Hedgehog Survey is a citizen science project led by researchers in National University of Ireland, Galway. The aim of the survey is to learn more about where hedgehogs live in Ireland and how they use our urban and rural habitats.
- SciStarterSciStarter is an online citizen science hub where projects from all over the internet have been organized and made searchable.
- WaterBlitzDublin City University’s Water Institute asks the public to test the water quality in their local rivers, streams, lakes and canals. This project is run with Earthwatch Europe.
- The ZooniverseZooniverse is a citizen science web portal owned and operated by the Citizen Science Alliance. Zooniverse gives people of all ages and backgrounds the chance to participate in real research with over 50 active online citizen science projects.
