Dublin Literary Award 2025

For the month of April we are highlighting the internationally renowned Dublin Literary Award, an initiative of Dublin City Council, with the support of Dublin City of Literature. Fiction nominated by public libraries across the globe make up the Longlist (71 novels for 2025!). The Shortlist has been announced - six eclectic novels - and the winner will be announced at the International Literature Festival Dublin on Thursday, 23 May. We can't wait!

For now, browse the Spotlight display shelves in the James Joyce Library, where books from the Longlist past and present are on display.
