- National Maritime Museum, GreenwichThe National Maritime Museum collections include sea charts, maps, photographs and paintings dating from the medieval period to the present day. There are many hundred items relating to Ireland and a selection are available to view online.
- UK Hydrographic Office (UKHO)Over 3,500 charts with coverage appropriate for navigation of deep sea, coastal passages, port approaches and harbour berthing including Irish waters.
Large-scale charts for main ports and harbours, medium scale charts for coastal navigation and small-scale charts for offshore navigation.

The Land Cover Map "... gives highly detailed and validated information on the thirty-six land cover types identified within the classification system. For the first time, it provides a comprehensive,national-scale mapping of all land cover types of the country including broadleaved woodland and hedgerows, a range of peatlands, wet and dry heathland, wet and dry grasslands, artificial surfaces,exposed rock and sediments."
