Agreement period: 1 Feb 2022 – 31 Dec 2024.

OA quota per year: unlimited.

What journals are included?

Journals eligible for OA publishing:

  • PLOS Digital Health
  • PLOS One
  • PLOS Computational Biology
  • PLOS Pathogens
  • PLOS Neglected Tropical Diseases
  • PLOS Genetics

PLOS journals excluded from the agreement: PLOS Climate, PLOS Global Public Health, PLOS Water, PLOS Biology, PLOS Medicine, PLOS Sustainability and Transformation.

Instructions for authors

For your article submission to be included under the agreement, you must be the corresponding author and affiliated with UCD.
Authors should be careful to indicate their institutional affiliation when submitting their articles to ensure that the publisher’s editorial management system identifies them correctly as eligible for the OA publication charge waiver.
Authors must use a UCD email address, and not addresses from other domains.
Eligibility is based on article acceptance date.
