Open Access Publishing Agreements: American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
Agreement details
This agreement gives current staff and students at participating institutions:
- Access to all ASME journals (from 2000 to current) and to all ASME Conference Proceedings (from 2008 to current)
- The ability to make their articles accepted for publication in eligible ASME journals and Conference Proceedings open access, without the author paying an article processing charge (APC).
Agreement period: 1 Apr 2024 – 31 Dec 2027.
OA quota: unlimited.

All ASME hybrid and fully open access journals.

Instructions for authors
Eligible authors: The corresponding author must be a current staff member or student of a participating institution at the time the article is submitted for publication.
The corresponding author must ensure their correct affiliation details are known to the publisher at this time.
Eligible article types: Research Article, Brief Definitive Report, Communication, Hypothesis, Methods and Approaches, Report, Technical Advances and Resources, and Tools.
