Open Access Publishing Agreements: John Benjamins Journals

The open access publishing agreement with John Benjamin Journals allows corresponding authors with an affiliation “University College Dublin”, or “An Coláiste Ollscoile, Baile Átha Cliath” make articles accepted for publication in eligible journals open access, without the author paying an article processing charge (APC).

Agreement period: 1 Jan 2023 – 31 Dec 2024.

OA quota per year: unlimited

Journals eligible for OA publishing: all John Benjamins journals.

For your article submission to be included under the agreement, you must be the corresponding author and affiliated with UCD.

Corresponding authors must give clear indication of their UCD affiliation; the affiliation as stated in the article will be used by the publisher to identify them as eligible. In addition, you are advised to use your .ucd.ie or .ucdconnect.ie email  address.

Upon acceptance John Benjamins will communicate eligibility to the corresponding author and notify the institution (University College Dublin Library).
