In-Text-Citation:
- Author Last name (Year)
- (Author Last name, Year)
Example:
- Gilbert (2009) shows that….
- Being conscious of our thoughts and their effect on us is key to this theory (Gilbert, 2009).
Note on URLs: To get a shorter URL, such as the one above, go to the eBook itself and see if a shortened URL is provided. This is sometimes called a citable link or something similar.
Note: If there are no page numbers, and you need to quote directly from a source, include either a section heading or paragraph number in your in-text-citation, e.g. Gilbert, 2009, para. 6.
