APA Style Guide: YouTube video etc
This guide explains how to use the APA Style. It includes a short tutorial.
YouTube video or other steaming video
Reference: Uploader/Author Last name, Initials. [channel name if different/screen name]. (Year, Month Day). Title [Description]. YouTube/Platform name. URL
Example: Mischler, A. [Yoga with Adriene]. (2019, March 31). Office break yoga [Video]. YouTube. https://youtu.be/M-8FvC3GD8c
In-Text-Citation:
- (Author Last name, Year)
Example:
- Breathing and slow movement are highlighted in this video (Mischler, 2019).
Note: Always use the Uploader’s name, even if different from the creator/author. If you wish to include the author/create also, you can, adding their role in brackets after their name.
