Interviews, email and other personal communication

No personal communications are included in your reference list. Only an in-text-citation is required.

In-Text-Citation:

  • communicator's name
  • phrase "personal communication”
  • date of the communication

Example:

  • P. Jones (personal communication, March 4, 2014) notes that…
  • Those at the event have reported seeing a white spark prior to the explosion of the damn (P. Jones, personal communication, March 4, 2014)…
